Artangel commissions give artists the space and time to realise new work that extends beyond conventional frameworks. Artangel Publishing, established in 1998, gives a parallel – often longer life – to these projects in the form of books, videos and CD’s.
These publications go beyond conventional modes of documenting and recording. They are imaginative monographs of individual projects, and their form is conceived and realised in close collaboration with the artist.
